Time to Plan for your School and Easter Holiday

Hello again from the Continental in sunny Whangarei. This morning there was a wee chill in the air before the sun burst through, a reminder that autumn is on its way. However, here in the North the temperatures are still very acceptable, the rain minimal, and it is still a wonderful place to spend some time exploring and soaking up the last of the summer which, in Northland, has been glorious.

School and Easter holidays are almost with us. They provide a great opportunity for a family break before winter sets in. There is so much to see and do in Whangarei and it is a great place to use as a base as you discover the North.

We have some of the best diving, bush walks, museums, markets and coastline in New Zealand so why not come and explore? Our family friendly units are spacious and clean, each with a full kitchen so self-catering is easy. Should you want a holiday from cooking there are a variety of takeaways and restaurants within 2 minutes’ walk, not to mention 2 supermarkets and a family friendly pub. We are so conveniently located, and we are only 5 minutes from the city centre, our famous Town Basin and world-famous Clock Museum. Check out the special Story Book Easter Sunday at Kiwi North Museum, Kiwi House and Heritage Park.
