Whangarei is also well located for day trips to the Bay of Islands due to being located only 1 hour south of Paihia and Russell. A trip to the wild west coast and Dargaville is also 1 hour away.
Continental Motel Location
Continental Motel is located only a couple minutes drive from the centre of Whangarei city.
From the south follow State Highway 1 until you reach Kensington Avenue at the top of the 2nd dual carriageway. Turn right into Kensington Avenue and right at the first traffic lights, and we are on the right.
From the North stay on the main road south until you reach Kensington Avenue (just past Kensington Stadium). Turn left into Kensington Avenue and right at the first traffic lights, and we are on the right.
